Sunday: To Obey is Better Than Sacrifice guest post T.W.
Obey All of God's Word
Cast Out of Eden |
Just as Adam and Eve had a problem obeying God in their day, we as servants of God, still struggle with the issue of obedience. I know, because I struggle with the same problem.

Movie Review: "Legion" is God Awful
Legion the Movie Review
Seriously, I don't want to review this movie, it was just that bad. Ok, out on DVD is legion. For us Christians, and I guess Jews [I'm not sure], this movie about angels and God would be interesting. Yes, there's a guy with wings in it, and yes they mention "Him" about 50 times, in one sentence. I counted. But, it has nothing to do with Christian, nor Jewish, angels and nothing about God. I mean, the Bible has to be the most widely read book in the history of man. It is still a top seller. So, why was nothing in this movie based on the Bible?
Don't get me wrong. I love an original screenplay as much as the next guy, but this was just... bad AND blasphemous? Who goes out on a limb to piss half the world off, on a budget of ... what $100 million? LOL

Ave Maria Guarani: by Ennio Moricone from The Movie "The Mission" (video)
Ave Maria Guarani
[ I present this for posterity. This is one of my favorite movies and the soundtrack is just Godly to me. Here is a very sad and soulful rendition of Ave Maria done by the Guarani Indians of South America, who were conquered by the conquistadors and were savagely raped, beaten and burned. All the while the church stood by and gave their consent to all of this. Yes, including the pope and the Jesuits. Don't misunderstand, I blame not the church, but I do blame the men. Not every Catholic is evil, nor is every Jesuit. But, surely every conquistador was evil. What do you call rape, pillage and plunder for self greed and throwing the church and the crown some morsels so they [the pope and crown] don't slaughter you [the conquistador] themselves for being insolent. It was greed, mixed in with politics.]
Ave Maria Guarani Lyrics
Ave Maria
quae nos Deo coniungis
Inter hominum
electa universi
multitudinem memorares
ne obliviscaris naturam tuam
at Deo restituax
nos dilectos
Cum nobis panem fregit
Cum nobis panem fregit
Cum nobis panem fregit
Sancta Maria
nobis doceas
Ut omnibus
assentiamus cum humilitate
[I am not 100% on those lyrics. I had a translation, or shall I say, a direct copy of the lyrics years ago, and they were different. However, when listening to the song while reading the lyrics they do seem to fit. The original was supposed to be a mixture of Guarani and Latin.]

School Takes in Juvenile Delinquents and Does Nothing: Shocking Success
Could You Be Feeding Your Child a Ticket to Jail
Here's the setup. Problem children who have had a history of acting up and being kicked out of several schools are taken to a special high-school. There are no meetings. There are no group sessions. There is no counseling for the children. So how is it that the school has no security guards nor any problem out of the children?

Police Murder a Man's Dogs, Break Down His Front Door and Terrorize his Wife and Children
3, 2, 1 "SEARCH WARRANT!" BAAM!
"This video shows a search warrant served by the Columbia Mo. police department. The cops bust in this guys house in the middle of the night and shoot his two dogs (one a pit bull that was caged in the kitchen and the other a Corgi) with children in the home. It turns out that rather than a big time drug dealer, this guy had a small pipe with some resin in it, a grinder, and what the cops here call "a small amount of marijuana" (meaning less than a few grams). We here in Columbia want everyone to know what kind of police department we have here, check out our "finest" in action." - Psychostyle

Kathy Griffith and the D List
Unfunny, Unattractive and Obvious, and Those are Kathy Griffin's Good Qualities
So a new neighbor moved into the complex, white guy, single and of course homosexual. [ just sayin facts ] He's loud, boisterous and broke. I lent him a power chord the fist day I met. Hey, I'm a nice guy. Wanna fight about it? So invariably, this loud, boisterous, chubby, gay guy likes to talk about rather serious subjects. And, he asks me my opinions. Now I've been knowing this guy for all of 5 days. Invariably he gets upset at my answers.

Blizzard Working on a Super Secret MMO and the Fall of World of Wacraft: Cataclysm
Bad Reviews for Cataclysm
Tons of reviews by professionals and fans alike have been pouring into the web. I have yet to see one that is positive. Couple that with fan comments on the reviews and you have a staggering situation where Blizzard / Activision might lose money on the expansion. What is shocking is that Blizzard is proud of their changes and see no reason to reconsider them.

Sunday: The Persistence of a Mother - guest post T.W.
How a Mother Should Love
Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary defines the word Schism as "Division or Separation". The word Schism could be used to describe "racism", which is a division or separation of people. In the Old Testament, the Lord called Abraham to Himself, and made out of Abraham a people called Israel, or the Hebrews. After God called and made the nation of Israel, the rest of the people were then known as Gentiles. So there was a division between God's people, the Jews and the Gentiles. The Israelites, in times past, had a right, even a commandment "not" to mingle with the ungodly people, but when Jesus came on the scene, He broke down the barrier between the Jews and the Gentiles, and made it possible for all men to be saved.
Sunday: Spoiled Brats in the Kingdom guest post T.W.
Facing What Makes You Uncomfortable Like a Man
How many of you remember the Mexican comedy El Chavo del Ocho, an off shoot of the well known Mexican comedy El Chapulin Colorado. In the show El Chavo del Ocho, Mister Villagran played a character named Quico, who was an adult who dressed up like a kid. In fact, he played the part of a spoil brat, who was always crying about this or that. Some of us in the Kingdom of God is like Quico. Though we should be all grown up in God, we still sometimes act like spoil brats.

Etiquette: How to Treat a Lady
Etiquette
Let's bring back a touch of elegance and class to our country. The manners and language of a country exemplifies how well they live. One can literally take a social measuring stick and get a perfect view of how well the citizens life according how well mannered they are. The less well mannered they are, the lower their standard of living. It is quite simple to understand that the further away from being animal-like one behaves, the better standard of living one has. The reverse is equally true. The better one's manners, the higher one's standard of living will climb.

Encouragement
Your Daily Encouragement
[I was going to go into a long tirade about how Black people tear me and each other down more than any other race on the face of the planet. Instead I give you these word of encouragement that I would hope you would read daily and keep in your heart.]

It's a Matter of Race: How the Government Confused Millions
What Race are you?
Never shy to discuss a topic in detail, I picked up the story of how the census confused millions of Latinos around the country. At the end of the day, language is about communication. On this topic I have to actually ... DRUM ROLL... agree with the government. I know, stop laughing. It happens sometimes. Who'da thunk it? Me, Mister Antiestablishment, agreeing with "THE MAN". Ah well, I never close my brain off to the truth, even if it comes from the mouths of devils. So let's get into the story.
What to do If Your Car Has Been Towed
What a Notary Can do to Help If Your Car is Towed
Sometimes it just happens. You are at an event with thousands of people and there is no parking, anywhere. So you park in an alley, thinking it's out of the way and you can get to it easily. You come back later and it is gone. You receive a text message that your car has been towed or the shop owner next to the alley informs you that "there's no parking in my alley, it's for deliveries only." Funny that there's only deliveries at 9a.m. on Tuesdays, but what you gonna do.

Sunday: Worshipping God verses Worshipping Idols guest post Pastor T.W.
American Idolatry
I find it amazing how many people today are involved in idolatry of many kinds. In this story Paul is at Athens, Greece, having been sent away from Berea, by the Brethren, for his own protection. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Ghost had fallen afresh on the disciples, and those that were with them. Paul had also received the Holy Ghost after receiving prayer from Ananias, Acts 9:17. So Paul was very bold, and on fire for God. Some of the Brethren then had brought Paul to Athens and left him there. In Athens Paul encountered Idol worship.

Do I Amuse You
I notice a lot of people get offended and write scathing comments on some of my articles, while I do get glorious praise for other things. I'll take credit for the praise :) But, the things people get upset over aren't words from my mouth.
While I might think a topic or discussion is worthy of posting to my blog, it has nothing to do with my own personal feelings. Let me repeat: if you see an article on here about the KKK it does not mean I love nor hate the KKK. I hope that is crystal clear. Well, for those that are not understanding let me give you examples.
I wrote an article on a national study on "why Black men will not marry nor date Black women". Nearly everyone that wrote comments on that article did not understand that it was a national study and that I was simply reporting it, although I introduced it as a study.
I wrote an article on "gay marriage". This time I received a warning from a company to cease and desist or I would be in legal trouble. You guessed it, the article was about the legal ramifications that the state would be in versus the church and private businesses if they tried to enforce gay marriage on private companies and churches.
I wrote an article on loose women being called whores. To which some woman replied that "just because you sleep around doesn't make you a whore". Ok I have nothing to respond to that one.
In each of these cases the person "reading" the article did not "read" the article. I

DUI the Scam to Make You Pay
Invariably if you look at the money trail that leads from you when you get involved with a DUI you'll find a long and winding path with many forks off of it. Just follow the money and you will see so many with their hands out waiting to be paid. Let's go over briefly where the money goes.
The Police and the City
If nothing else is involved or nothing else complicates your DUI, at the very minimum, the police department and the city are going to profit off of your DUI. The police department is now a money-making, for-profit, venture that the city and state runs. The entire DUI detection process that the police engage in, is to ensure they can write up a slam dunk DUI on you. They have realized that these laws that they pass can have a fine attached to it, which will generate millions for them, nearly free of charge, i.e. without raising taxes. Where does that money go? Pockets! The city is now run as a for profit, money making venture. All licenses are nothing more than an up front tax to you. DUI is a cash cow that they will never let go of.
Remember, there was a time when there was NO law concerning DUI. There was a time when you did not pay for being drunk behind the wheel, smelling of alcohol behind the wheel, and nowadays having an alcoholic container somewhere in the car OR EVEN TRUNK.
Were the streets less safe then than they are now? No! DUI laws are not there to prevent accidents. In fact DUI laws don't even take the most dangerous people off the street. Disregard all the hype you've heard. They revealed that there are many many states, that let go of people who accumulate multiple upon multiple infractions of DUI. There was a story of a guy with 12 DUIs. And, he was let go again. If I had to guess, I'd venture that he paid in full, every fine they gave him.
Online Traffic School
Let us think about this very carefully and with a clear mind. You get a DUI and the judge says "enroll in an online course or attend one in person for traffic school." How in God's green earth is traffic school even legal for adults who already have licenses. What does traffic school offer people after completing it? Nothing!
Online DUI courses or in person were nothing more than ways for private companies to make money. None [at least in Las Vegas or Nevada] of the DUI schools are run by the state. What does that tell you? The entire DUI school is a scam. It was a scam to get it as part of your sentence. It is a scam that you have to pay for it.
I guarantee you that these DUI schools have vast power, that the general public is not aware of. How else could private companies be a part of a criminal sentencing. I smacks of corruption to its core.
Lawyers
What lawyer are we talking about? Remember, there are always 3 lawyers in a court room [assuming you're not a nimrod and did hire a lawyer of your own], the judge, the District Attorney, and your lawyer. Assuming you didn't hire a sheister lawyer that is going to take advantage of you at the cost of handing you over to the state, the other two guys are the scammers.
How do you fight a fire? With fire. Get your own lawyer or else you are a dumb dumb. DUI is so serious that you don't even realize the implications until it is far too late.
It is better that you should overreact and hire the best lawyer, then undershoot it and end up in jail on your first offense, without even an accident being involved. It can happen. Imagine if you overreact and hire the best damn lawyer you can, and he gets your DUI completely removed and not so much as a moving violation comes out of it. Thank your lucky stars and pay the man anything he asks. Trust me the state is prepared to bend you over and take every red cent you have.
---------------> You are nothing more than a meal ticket to them. <------------------
Get you a lawyer. Better yet, get yourself a litigator. That is a lawyer who has dedicated his life to actually trying cases.
There are lawyers and then there are litigators. The litigator is a beast all unto himself. And, the two are not equal. A litigator... well you can just call him a super lawyer.
Also, just like there are coaches / teachers and then there are professional players, that's how you should see lawyers as well. You can have someone who sits in his office all day long that makes millions, but put him in a court room and he looses his mind. On the other hand, you can have a litigator who lives in the court room, who can merely threaten to "see you in court," and the other side drops the case altogether.
Remember, the judge has baggage. The D.A. has baggage. Get you a litigator and watch that baggage come out. They are just like bullies. They pray on the weak. They hand out thousands of DUIs every year and hope everyone just pays the money. If you show up with an attorney in tow, they don't want to see you. See, then YOU are costing them money. Nine times out of ten it is not worth the hassle if you have a lawyer, to take it to the next step. And, God forbid you have a known litigator. I mean, that's just "poop my pants" time for them.
Conclusion
DUI is a money laundering scam. The state and everyone else has their hand out for your CASH. Don't be a fool and think you can just pay it and it will go away. They will get you over and over and over. They want your money. They don't want justice. They don't want safety. They are not interested in preventing drunk driving. They want your money.
Get you the best damn lawyer you can find.

You Should Never Buy a Car
Going in Debt Over a Car
My friend's father went with us when his son went shopping for a car. I guess to this family, owning and driving a car meant that he, my friend, was a man. Weird logic and strange to me, but whatever floats his boat. Now we road in my friend's father's car. It was a nice plush car with soft leather on the seats. I can't remember the make nor the model, but it was built like a sherman tank but road like an ocean liner. It was European, I'm sure of it. My friend's father once did the marble along the seems trick you see in the commercials. He wasn't bragging about the car so much as he was showing how American craftsmanship in a car was a joke compared to the rest of the entire world. "At the end of the day patriotism is great for waving a flag, but if you have to take home a car, that's where it ends and good sense starts. Never buy an American car," he said.
What did I know? I did not and still don't know about cars. But, I can follow a simple rule. Don't buy American cars. Ok, I get it.
Today, though, car shopping, he was quiet and just drove us around where ever my friend or I suggested. My friend had worked for two years to buy a car. This was his own money he was spending, not his father's. His father was simply there for moral support.
We had gone to at least 2 dealerships already. His father said nothing. My friend was shrewed though and knew when the salesmen were telling blatant lies. It was even obvious to me, who is clueless about cars. My friend sat in the back seat next to me, with the car section and classifieds in hand. "Oh, this can't be true. Let's go to Hyundai," he yelled out. So we headed there.
We got to the place and my friend went over the car with a magnifying glass he was so paying attention to every detail. The deal did sound great. I think my friend was just about to ask to step into the office when his father tapped him on the shoulder.
That was a "come here now" tap. We all piled back into the car, my friend and I puzzled at why we were summoned back into the car. We were halfway down the road when my friend suddenly asked what was going on.
His father took a flash card from the front seat and handed it to him. On it were 5 addresses. "We are going to buy a car you can afford." My friend sat back in the seat, waiting for the lecture or sermon or whatever was to come.
"You see son, a car is simply a means to squeeze time out of distance. It is not a toy. It is not a decoration. It is not a dressing accessory. It is a means to get from here to there, but a whole lot faster than walking. You should never EVER buy a car and go into debt over it. If you cannot afford to pay cash for it, do not buy it. There are millions of cars for sale by normal regular people that are asking for the normal price of it. There is no reason to even buy a new car."
My friend sat there stunned. He had never heard this speech out of his father. Neither did I, but then again I wasn't his son. But, I did spend a lot of time together with my friend over his house. I might as well have been. I ate dinner there, and sometimes slept there. If my financial situation ever changed for the worst they would have been the first to come get my things and move me in. It never came to that though.
He looked at the card. "On that card are 5 people selling cars that I have done a little leg work on," his father pointed over his shoulder. We're headed to the first one now.
The cars his father picked out were simply amazing, and they were all in mint condition. He made sure my son saw all the cars first before making a decision. One of the people wasn't even in the market to sell their car, but was willing to do it as a favor for my friend's father. He was some sort of car collector.
The collector sweetened the deal by offering to fix the car if it broke down, since he worked on his own cars. My friend would have to simply pay for the part. I think he offered him a job in his company too by the end of the conversation. Needless to say, my friend bought the jaguar off of him.
At the end of it all, my friend paid in cash 1/3rd of what he was looking to spend before from dealerships. He actually came out with money still in his pocket, which his father promptly told him to put in the local credit union and not touch.
His father also made him stay at home until he had saved, in that same credit union savings account, enough to pay for a house with cash. He was 25 when he moved out and bought the house.
My friend asked if I wanted to move in with him and pay rent to him instead of the dump I was in. They all helped me move in. A month later when rent time came the whole family came over to the house. When I came back from the bank with the check in my hand his father intervened. He said, "you're as much a son to me as my boy. You go take your money out of that sheister bank and put it in the credit union I told my son to put his into. You're going to save up for a car and a house." I blinked and my friend was laughing behind his dad. "The look on your face right now is priceless," my friend kept laughing. I would have asked if it was a joke, but his father never really joked around about money.
So I went back to the bank and closed my account. They gave me dirty looks, but oh well. I then put my money into that credit union. I was amazed at how money they DID NOT charge like the bank did.
I lived with my friend for some years. In fact when I had enough he AND his father both said I needed more money and to stay put. I bought a car, with his father's great advice of course. They were so right. I forgot about all the hidden expenses people do not talk about when owning a car, registration and all that stuff.
Also, as soon as I bought a car, I was a magnet for the police. I think they kept trying to see if I had something illegal going on, which I never did. But they ran me ragged with minor tickets. "That's how they make their money," my friend's father said, one day when i came home complaining about it. "Police is a money making business for the city and state and the government. Why do you think there's city, state and federal "police"?"
It is all a big extortion racket they police run, once you get into a car. But, I learned my lesson. Never buy a car you cannot afford to pay cash for. Look in your local area for regular people selling their cars. If you need to, take a mechanic with you, to make absolutely sure the car is in tip top condition. Nowadays you can check carfax to make sure the car was never in an accident.

What is the Single Most Effective Way You Personally Can Help Get America Out of this Economic Depression
What Can You Do
I do not think a lot of people are aware of what is really going on with the economy right now. They do not want to hear any more about the economy. They do not want to watch the news talk about the economy. But, the truth of the matter is, regardless of all the speeches, talks and news broadcasts, not one person is telling you: what really is going on; why it is going on; and what you can do to stop it. I have already gone over in my economic blog what were some of the reason of this economic depression. What I would like to discuss today is what you can do personally to take control of your financial destiny, AND in so doing it, help your fellow citizen take control of his financial destiny by proxy.
You might be wondering, why you would be influenced to help your fellow citizen take control of his financial destiny. The answer is simple. By doing what I am about to reveal to you, you are helping yourself. If just 30% of the population helps themselves, this economic depression will be over.
