Does God Actually Talk?

As a Minister, in the Christian Church, I get these questions all the time. Does God really talk to people? How do you know that it is God who is talking, and not someone else? How do you know it's not just your own mind you hear? The message below will briefly deal with the question of "Does God Really Talk to People?". Our goal is to give people enough information, and yet not drown them with too much information. I will give you scriptures, and if possibly some reference material which may help you.


Does God really talk to people? With a resounding "Yes", I can answer that the Lord God, still talks to people today. Why do I believe this? There are three major reasons:

• God does not change
  
• He talked to the prophets of old
• He speaks to me often

The first reason I believe, and know that the Lord really talks to people today, is because God does not change. The Word of God confirms the fact that God does not change numerous times. The first is found in the Old Testament:



Malachi, 3:6a "For I am the Lord, I change not...." In other words, God's character does not change. He is always Good! He is always Holy, clean and pure. He is always truthful and just. He always treats His children the same....Right. So knowing this about God, helps us to understand that He will, through every generation, be the same towards us.

There is also another scripture in the New Testament, which supports this teaching: See Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." That's pretty clear, isn't it. God is just the same, as I stated above. His characteristics, His ways, and His Words are the same. Don't you just hate "wishy, washy, people." People who you cannot trust, because they refuse to tell the truth. One day, they are happy and smiling, and friendly, and the next day, for no apparent reason, they seem angry, and distant. God is not like that. Though sometimes it seems that He is silent, His Word still lets us know that He is still loving and kind, and He is ever present.

Believing that God does not change, is vital to the belief system of followers of Jesus Christ. Just as the Bible teaches us in Hebrews 11:6

Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him"

Before we can believe that He actually speaks to His people, we must first believe that God is that ever constant equation in life itself, or we wouldn't be able to believe the rest of His message.

I will deal with the other two reasons, why I believe and know that God really does speak to people in my next message:

How the Casual Gamer Has Ruined World of Warcraft

Your Gearscore Sucks

We see it all the time in trade chat. Such and so raid is looking for more people to join, BUT... you have to have some outrageous gearscore. For those who are are new to achieving level 80 or haven't played the game but for only a few months, this might seem perfectly alright. However, what you don't know is that the game was never heavily gear dependent. I will be going over how the game has changed and for the worse. I will go over what was expected of a raider; how people achieved great gear; and how skill ruled the game.

Before Gearscore Was Even a Word

There was a time when they had not cracked the gearscore code. People had to rely on other things to determine if someone was worthy of going on a raid. What did they rely on you ask?

• the reputation of the person that was hopeful to go on a raid
• looking at their gear and knowing the class of the person and how the gear perfectly matched the person's class
• only guilds went on raids, there were no such things as PUGs

Let's go over each of these points in depth. I will show you how removing this system in a game that relies on its own social aspect to make for a better experience of everyone. I will also compare some much harder games to the current system.

Your Reputation Could Make or Break you

Back when WoW was much much smaller, people had reputations and you were made or broken by your actions in World of Warcraft. That meant if you ninjad something, you really did get black balled from any possible raiding or getting into a guild. You would be kicked out of a guild if you did anything that ruined your reputation and hence the reputation of the guild. You were also put on a list by the more experienced guilds as a persona non grata.

You could go to a message board and see posts about people that did things that were disreputable. That meant that not only were you outed to your guild, but everyone on the server, and the whole game, actually the world since it's on the internet. This was especially true of serious offenses, like ninjaing in a raid. Even if you were stupid, it was considered bad, like a hunter rolling on something that is perfectly suited for a tank or healer.

With the current changes, people no longer care about reputation. Why? Because gear is ridiculously easy to come by and you can simply kick someone and get a new idiot to take their place.

When a Guild Master Was Capable of Looking at Your Gear to Determine Your Skill

WoW has always had obscure gear rules to challenge the player to think outside the box when gearing themselves. What am I talking about? I'm talking about a paladin wearing cloth. I'm talking about a hunter wearing leather. I'm talking about a tank wielding rogue weapons.

If you didn't know your class sufficiently to understand these slight nuances in the game, you would seriously under gear your character and do less damage, or generate less threat or heal for less.

It was the excellent guild master that knew every class in the game to such and extent that he could look at your gear and tell that you knew nothing about both your class and specialization. I was once applying for a guild and they asked that I have "good gear". I got the beast gear I could at the time which were not only blues, but blues that were better than epic gear. When the guild master called to inspect me, he knew I had the beast gear and knew they were pieces that were not easy to get. So in blues and a couple of greens I was invited into the guild to be a raider.

Why do I include that story? Because raid leaders and guild masters of today would not know that a blue out of some obscure dungeon was better than a beginning epic. Today they would dismiss you out of hand and probably put you on their ignore list.

But could a guild master know you had skill by looking at your gear? Yes! If you knew your class so well that you were wearing obscure blues and greens that were focused on some aspect of your specialization, the guild master knew two things:

• you knew your class to an elite status
• you knew your spec to an elite status

It is highly improbable that someone with such an integral knowledge of their class could be unskilled at the game. You can't get to intimate knowledge of your class without knowing the skill to use it.

When You Had to Join a Guild to Raid

There was always this separation of the game into two groups: the casual gamer; the hardcore raider. To be a hardcore raider you needed to be in a guild. A hardcore raider schedules his life around raid time and the raid is scheduled around everyone's life. To be invited to a guild meant that you agreed to raid at their raid time. There was no way to get into a raid without first being in a guild. No one wanted to raid with someone:

• they did not know
• that did not know their class
• that did not know the raid
• that had a bad reputation

Remember one fine point. And, this is a fine point that escapes new players of World of Warcraft. Gear that was more powerful than the instance you were raiding was unheard of. It was only after raiding for months that a guild could finally breath easy and do an instance without any trouble. It was only then that they would start PUGs.

The casual gamer simply played the game for fun; didn't have time to play for long periods; didn't have every day to play; didn't want to invest time into a single task that might take him months to accomplish.

However, it has been the casual gamer that has been the loudest about his lack of raiding and / or gear.

The Beginning of the End

Blizzard is in the business of making money, not making a better game. Normally the two are opposite. In its infinite wisdom, Blizzard started listening to the casual gamer.

• casual gamers wanted to raid
• casual gamers wanted the epic gear
• casual gamers wanted the tier gear
• casual gamers wanted to not think about what gear to get to fit their class

With all of these demands Blizzard slowly changed the game to be easier and easier. At first these changes only affected the lower level. The end game was still held in reserve to those who were serious about the game. Blizzard reasoned that they must make the beginning game much easier for everyone to understand and therefore enjoy and purchase a subscription.

Due to their changes of making getting to the end game easier, more and more casual gamers achieved the highest level in the game. Then you had a much larger population of people that did not know their class and who did not raid. Blizzard finally changed the end game to be easier and easier.

People went from raiding Naxxramus in blues, to requiring people to be in epics coming into Naxx. They quickly forgot that Naxx was the first instance that dropped epics at all.

With this mindset the entire game went down hill. People started requiring higher and higher gearscores to do content that did not require it.

Gearscore the Straw That Broke the Camels Back

Finally the addon gearscore came out. You could now look at someone and determine what their gear's level was. You could also check online and get their gearscore. Gone was the necessity of the raid leader or guild master to know the game so much that they could look at your gear and determine your skill.

It has been a failure on the parts of the raid leaders and guild masters to depend on gearscore. I have found that gearscore is useless. I was in a basic heroic instance with a mage that had a gearscore of 5400. He pulled 1.5k dps. End of story. I have been in regular instances where the healer dripping in epics let the tank die, along with the rest of the party. Gearscore is useless.

Be that as it may, the changes Blizzard has made is akin to gold sellers. Once people start buying gold, they can then buy all the best gear that Bind on Equip. Once people have access to this, then people see that more of the population is walking around in much higher gear. They then come to expect everyone to have higher gear. This is effectively what Blizzard has done. They have made it easier for people to equip higher gear and so people expect higher gear from everyone.

The end result is that terrible players are walking around in pristine gear. Now no one knows who is a joy to play with and who is and absolute nightmare. I expect it will only get worse. Unless the new expansion makes the player concentrate on the skill aspect of the game, I see no possible way to fix this. You will end up with very frustrated end game players that want the casual gamers to go away and Blizzard wanting everyone to enjoy the full content of the game.

All that being said, the very end game instances still require skill. You cannot get around it. Being dressed up, still does not account for skill. I think it is going to be a big disappointment when the casual gamer gets dressed in the highest gear possible only to find that their skills do not match the gear they are in.

I say go back to reserving Player vs Environment equipment for those that acquire it in raids only and leave the non-skilled players to do player vs player games.

We just had a player join our guild raid dressed in full pvp gear and he had the same gearscore as my healer paladin. After a couple of fights it was found he healed 1/3rd of what I healed. He was removed promptly and someone else was invited. The only reason he was invited was because of his gearscore.

You might be saying "he's in pvp gear though." Other than adding the "resilience" stat to his gear, all of his gear was gemed better than mine and he had far superior spell power than my paladin. He was just a terrible player. He had no idea of what to do in a raid, nor how to heal.

Gearscore is useless. You could buy gold in the game and end up with 200,000 gold and simply go the the AH and buy full crafted gear that could put your into nose bleed gearscore overnight. Who would know? They would simply look at the gearscore and take you into their raids. Then find out your skill is zero.

Sunday: Enter the Strait Gate - guest post Pastor T.W.

Enter ye in at the Strait Gate

When we hear the word, strait which according to The Random House College Dictionary, means "narrow", or a position of difficulty, distress, or need. We may think of the straight, which means a line without a bend. Both are great words, especially when we are attempting to obey God's Words, in particular those found in the Book of St. Matthews 7:12-14 which reads:

St. Matthew 7: 12 - 14

12. "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
13. "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14. "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

When Jesus was on earth, in human form, He taught in such a profound but simple way. He normally used parables, which are natural lessons, used to teach spiritual principles. Even though Jesus had the power to heal the sick, and raise the dead, His main focus was directed at giving us "ETERNAL LIFE"; Getting us to heaven after we leave this earth. This was His focus in St. Matthew 7:12-14, and I dare say the entire Bible.

The Golden Rule

Most of us have heard of what we love to call "The Golden Rule: Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you." That is exactly what the Lord was teaching in verse 12 of this chapter. If we would treat others, the way we would like to be treated, we would fulfill the law and the prophets. We would have a wonderful world in which to live. There is another scripture which was written by Paul to the Philippians, in Philippians 2:3

"...let each esteem other better than themselves."

Wow! If we could only do that successfully, everyday, instead of thinking like the Pharisee who we see in St. Luke 18:11 (Please read this section.)

"The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this politician."

What the Pharisee was actually saying was: God, I'm better than this Publican. Jesus taught us to treat others as we wanted to be treated. Love others as we wish to be loved.

Jesus taught us in the Book of St. Matthew 7:13-14, we are to get on that strait and narrow way, and remain on it for life, for this is how we shall enter into Life Everlasting. Jesus, taught us without compromise, and without apology this message:

"....I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." St. John 14:6

Jesus is that Strait Gate. This is the gospel message. Jesus is the way, the only way to Eternal Life.

There is of course another way that one can choose to go, but that way does not, and never will lead to Eternal Life. Jesus mentions this in the second part of St. Matthew 7:13,

"......and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be that which go in thereat."

If we took a walk in any large city, in the U.S., such as New York City, Los Angeles, California, or Las Vegas, Nevada, we would find thousands of people walking on that broad way. It would make most people say, "It must be alright, everybody can't be wrong!" That's true, "everybody can't be wrong!" And everyone is not wrong. There are some who have decided to come off the broad way, and get on the strait and narrow way, and live there.

Sermon Summary

We encourage you today, to get on that strait path by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Getting on that strait path is so easy, you don't even need eyes in order to see it. You simply need to believe the Word which the Bible teaches about Jesus, that he was born of a Virgin, that He grew up, and died on the cross for our sins. Please pray this prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I believe in You.

"I believe that you came to this earth as the Bible says.
"That you were born of a Virgin.
"That you died on the cross for my sins
"That you went into the grave and stayed 3 days,
"That on the third day, you rose from the dead, with all power in your hands,
"Please, forgive me, for all of my sins
"Come into my heart and save me
"And fill me with your Holy Spirit, and
"Lord, please write my name in the Book of Life, in Jesus name I pray. Amen"

The Continued Drama of Erin Andrews

I guess the only person in America that takes Erin Andrews seriously as a "reporter" and "sportscaster" is Erin Andrews. No one watches anything she does for the words actually coming out of her mouth. Maybe when she's 50 and not so good looking anymore people might stop and listen to what she's saying. But, by that time she might be so used up and done with that no one will listen anyway. That sounds harsh right? No, it's the sad truth. If these beauty queens were smarter they would realize their true potential and not be used in such a fashion to begin with.

Lil Wayne Sentencing Postponed

Lil Wayne was scheduled for sentencing in connection with a gun possession charge. The sentencing was postponed due to him recently getting dental surgery. The state never takes health risks if at all possible, so they are giving him time to heal from the surgery and the sentencing will commence on March 2nd.

My question is, if I have the fact correct, they found a gun on a tour bus of his. They were hoping to put him away for more than 15 years, but his lawyer arranged a plea deal which reduced it all the way to 1 year.

My question is when did guns become illegal? How was Dwayne Carter tied to the gun? Were there any constitutional questions surrounding locating the gun, possession of the gun? I'm sure the average upstanding citizen will say "oh he's a rapper surely those people commit all sorts of crimes."

What middle America has to get through their thick skull, rap is a business and the people at the top of the game are the best businessmen around. Anyone who buys into the whole dramatic play, that is presented to them as "rap" or "rap lifestyle", is a fool. Time and again it is found out that rappers are kids with a sound business mind and determination. They are not ghetto children that "just got lucky."

So I posit to you, that someone had it out for "Lil Wayne" and wanted the guy at the top of the food chain to tumble, and America would buy it because "he's one of those Black rappers."

I personally don't listen to rap. I think it is all a scam. I think it is so corporate and rappers are all sell outs and what they are talking about does not come from their heart nor their experiences. I think rap and the rap industry is just playing everyone for fools and at the expense of the Black man, by Black men. Also, like the Army, they have this subconscious whisper of "hey lil negro you can get out the ghetto if you become a rapper." Forget school, forget studying, forget hard work, become a rapper. It is just raping the Black community and our kids are buying into the crap.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some sugarhill gang. I don't mind a "let's party" type song. But, when you put on the next song and Black women all of a sudden whores, sluts and putting their vaginas on the living room table, it's time to go. Any Black man or Black woman that would tolerate listening to that mess needs to just do the Black community a favor and just die. Would you want someone calling your mama a slut, skeezer, whorebag, dollar hooker, cheap trick? Would you want to marry a slut, skeezer, aids infested hooker? Then why would you entertain the thought with the music?

Oh, but Tu Pac is so deep! Nigga puh leez. You know who is deep? Dr. Cornel West, Black professor at Princeton University, who teaches that success does not compensate for moral bankruptcy, that consumerism is not a substitute for a complete lack of character, that the acquisition of money and things does not make you a better person regardless if you are poor or rich.

NEW YORK — Lil Wayne, one of music’s biggest sellers and rap’s hottest stars, will appear in court Tuesday for sentencing for a gun possession charge.

The Grammy-winning artist’s plea deal calls for a year in jail, though good behavior could shave that to as little as eight months.

“This is Lil Wayne going to jail. Nobody can tell me what that’s like,” the rapper told Rolling Stone magazine for its latest issue. “I just say I’m looking forward to it.”

He’s likely to start serving his sentence immediately, making him the latest in a string of rap stars to do time after topping the charts.

His plea deal calls for him to serve his sentence not in state prison but in the city jail system, where rapper Foxy Brown spent about eight months in 2007 and 2008 for a probation violation involving a fight she had with manicurists in a nail salon.

Rapper Remy Ma spent several months in a city jail in 2008 while awaiting sentencing for shooting a woman outside a nightclub. She’s now serving an eight-year sentence in state prison.

City Department of Correction spokesman Stephen Morello wouldn’t discuss any arrangements being made to house Lil Wayne among the roughly 13,500 inmates in the massive Rikers Island complex and other jails. Most inmates are awaiting trial.

Some inmates, including Foxy Brown, are separated from the general population because of their celebrity or other reasons, but “there’s no special-inmates wing,” Morello said.

Lil Wayne’s attorney didn’t return telephone calls seeking comment Monday.

Lil Wayne, 27, pleaded guilty in October to attempted criminal possession of a weapon, admitting he illegally had a loaded .40-caliber semiautomatic gun on his tour bus in July 2007. Police found the weapon when they stopped the bus after a Manhattan concert.

Little more than a week ago, Lil Wayne was reinforcing his place in rap’s pantheon with a commanding performance at the Grammy Awards ceremony. His latest album, “Rebirth,” was officially released Feb. 2.

A rapper since he was a teenager, Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Carter, became known for his voluminous output and collaborations with other artists.

His career has hit a peak in the last two years. His “Tha Carter III” led 2008 album sales with 2.8 million copies sold and featured such hits as the No. 1 smash “Lollipop.” His Grammys include 2008’s best rap solo performance award, for “A Milli.”

The Biggest Troll in History

Apparently someone is trolling the White House. Unbelievable as this might seem, it is not a fake story. It is not an Internet photoshop trick, it is the real deal. A billboard popped up along I-35 near Wyoming, Minnesota, [where ever that is] with a huge photo of former President George W. Bush and this question: “Miss Me Yet?”



For those that do not know what a troll is, let me explain.

A troll is a person that delights in other people's misery. It is a very slight confidence game. There are degrees of trolling from a very bad and blatant troll, to a totally subtle and confidence man. The bad troll is someone that simply walks up to you and insults you. If you react to him, he feels he has won. The depth of this troll's mental state is simply an attention whore. But, the real extreme troll is someone that you either never know is a troll, or someone that is so vile and evil that you end up crying over the deal. For instance, this person could walk up to you and compliment your shoes, then your hair, then your clothes, then your perfume. The troll could stop there. You might ask, what is wrong with that? Well for that person it is like an inside joke that they think you're a miserable slob. Taking it a step further though the person could then viciously turn around and start insulting you on a very personal level, after you've revealed personal information about yourself.

This billboard is clearly a troll. Everyone knows that Bush cannot come back and be president. The entire point of the billboard is to stir anger, trolling.

But let's take the billboard seriously for one second and review the subject, George Bush's presidency.

• do I miss the president who presided over the largest scam and scandal that is ruining the country financially in the history of the country?
• do I miss the president that presided over the largest international scandal and attack on American soil and covered it up and took advantage of the public's confidence?
  
• do I miss the president who knowingly mislead the country into an undeclared war that bankrupted the country? [an impeachable offense]
• do I miss the president that signed into law legislation that is in direct violation of the constitution, the patriot act? [an impeachable offense]
• do I miss the president that murdered millions of foreign nationals under the guise of America's safety, who had nothing to do with America? [an impeachable offense]
• do I miss the president that signed into law by presidential decree enactments that violated and continue to violate constitutional freedoms guaranteed by the constitution and directly forbidding the president to do? [an impeachable offense]
• do I miss the president that commissioned private companies to violate privacy policies directly signed by customers and spy on their customers? [an impeachable offense]
• do I miss the president that single handedly squirreled away millions of dollars in private contracts that his family pocketed? [an impeachable offense]
• do I miss the president that congress tried to bring over 100 impeachable offenses against?
• do I miss the president that enriched his fat cat friends to the tune of over a trillion dollars?
• do I miss the president that made appointments of nearly every possible position with wall street insiders, special interest group members, lobbyists and "interested" men?
• do I miss the president that raised more taxes than any liberal, spent more money than any liberal, skyrocketed the deficit more than any liberal, created a larger trade deficit than any liberal in the history of the country?
• do I miss the president that presided over the most middle class citizens slipping below the poverty line in the history of the country?
• do I miss the president that presided over more human rights violations in this country, than South Africa and Nazi Germany combined?

No sane American that knows the real news, that gathers his news from reputable sources that vet all of their stories personally, could ever have been a fan of George Bush. If you don't know what any of the bullet points are referring to, this is as good a time as any to start searching each point and find out for yourself who Bush really was.

So if you were watching the Super Bowl, unlike me, you saw a Dockers commercial for all of 15 seconds. In the commercial, which is horrible, they claim you can get free pants from dockers.

Here is the commercial. Warning, it's bad:



Supposedly if you go to their website you can get free Dockers. That's the good news. The bad news is, they have been overwhelmed on the website. LOL

Rebellious Children Come from Bad Parents

Overly Nice or Overly Strict, You Created the Monster

Today I would like to discuss rebellion in children. We've all seen it in public. Either the child is saying an infinite loop of "No", or screaming bloody murder at the top of it's lungs. At its core though the child is trying to take control of the situation. Invariably the root cause of this stems from the parents themselves. The parents have created this monster. There exists in the cosmos a great measuring scale that balances out good parents with good children. If the parents stray either way from too light parenting to too strict parenting, the result at the other end of the scale is the same, a rebellious monster the rest of us will eventually have to deal with.

Oh go ahead and deny it. Surely an overly nice parent can't have a rebellious kid. Surely an overly strict parent can't have a rebellious kid. Deny if you want, the truth of the matter is, that as the child emerges from unintelligible gibbering idiot to a self identifying thinking being, he tries to stake his claim in the real world. Bad parents rush in to stop this transformation. This is where the problem comes from. As they rush in, they drive the child nearly insane. The child is trying to understand reality and the parents are upsetting the balance and presenting a skewed view of what reality is.



I am sure you have seen these parents.

• Overreacting parents - these parents have extreme reactions to minor things. I had an uncle in-law that was like this. Let's say my little cousin dropped a paper he was trying to put on the table, my uncle in-law would scream my cousins name and cause him to drop crayons, paint, milk and soil himself. I was an adult at the time and it was all I could do not to choke the guy. My cousin would literally walk on pins and needles around him. [this person later went on to murder my aunt and shoot 2 of the kids who survived.]
• Overly compliant parents - these parents are the ones that always have a "yes dear" on their lips. They never tell the child what they cannot or even can do. You can see this evidenced by fat children. The parent has indulged the child so much that the child metabolism has been completely overcome.
• Overly strict parents - these are the most common. These parents rush in and tell the child they cannot do anything. And, it is never done out of love, it is done out of sheer over-parenting. The person doesn't know how to be a parent so they instead say no to any and everything. This is also true of overzealous religious nut cases. These people have made a life decision for themselves and then try to force everyone around them, especially their children, into it. God said give him 10%, not 110%. I feel so sorry for the children of these parents, because their reality is so skewed they don't know the sky is blue from lack of holding their head up.

The balance I speak of is inherent in us all. Inherently, even as children, we know that reality is factors from 1-10. The problem is all the 10 factors are shades of gray. The parents don't understand that gray is a color, they feel it is an absolute. So instead of letting the child experience reality, they try and step in to demonstrate the experience in their place or prevent the experience at all.

Don't get me wrong. These parents are not teaching the child what each factor of reality is, they are completely shutting the kid off from reality. The overly indulgent is just as guilty of this as the overly strict parent.

For example: the child asks what is hot and what is too hot

• the overly indulgent parent rushes in and saves her child from ever experiencing too hot. In fact the child is left wondering what heat is all together.
• the overly strict parent forbids the discussion of heat and cold and throws wet right out the window.

As you can see both parents have done the same exact thing. The reasonable, good parent either explains what heat is and goes into detail about what too hot is and how you can tell when something is too hot. In fact, the good parent might fire up the bunsen burner and have the child bring their hand closer and closer to the heat until it gets too hot for them, without burning themselves. Or, they might turn on the faucet and turn it steadily towards hot until it gets too hot for the child's hand.

I mentioned reality is shades of gray. Children perceive reality in shades of gray. In the example the good parent busted out the bunsen burner or turned on the hot water. For some children, they are doubting Thomases and they need an actual demonstration. For me, it was enough for my aunt to explain that heat will burn your hand, with not even so much as a demonstration of what heat was, and I got it.

Children are shades of gray. Where one child cannot perceive reality without seeing it, another can hear about reality and understand it completely.

As a parent we must understand what type of child we have. I see people abusing their children all the time. They are just the worst parents. They have it in their mind that if the child needs to see reality and feel it in their hands, to convince themselves of it, that the child MUST be stupid.

Let me rebuke you right here. Feeling and touching reality has nothing to do with how smart you are. A child feeling and touching something is merely their way of solidifying in their mind that reality even exists. Understand this, a child is coming from the view point of NO experiences at all. Children are literally starting with absolutely no concepts whatsoever. They cannot base some new experience on some past experience. If you are trying to determine if your child is intelligent or not based on how they need or don't need to see, touch and hear something, then you are the idiot.

If your child needs to see, touch and hear something, it is your duty to give it to them as safely as they possibly can withstand it. Do not take it upon yourself to frustrate the child in the process.

Calling a Child Stupid

My opinion: if you call a child stupid, you need to have your children taken away from you. End of story.

I don't think that even needs explaining.

Conclusion

People who continually frustrate their developing children are creating a monster that the rest of us will one day have to deal with. As a child is developing and growing, do not get in their way of learning. Yes, you are there to protect them, but you are not their to stand in their way of learning something.

Do not put your own moral judgments on something. You can explain why something would not be acceptable to you, but it should not stop you from explaining a situation or discussing something at all.

Once you recognize you have a rebellious child, you need to step back, take a deep breath and blame yourself. You caused it. It is all your fault. What are you doing that is causing this.

Understand also, that children have short attention spans. If you have a rebellious child today, it does not mean in the next 15 minutes that you won't have an angel. If you fix your own behavior, you can go from having this monster, to having a loving child that holds your hand and asks your opinion on things.

I also see that the sons and daughters forbid their own parents from giving them advice on parenting. They are convinced that their own parents have no clue about parenting. I have seen full on insulting matches where the son or daughter curses out the parent and tells them where they can stick their parenting advice.

If it were the case that the son or daughter all of a sudden became these great parents, where did they get the ideas? It is illogical, to say the least.

Policing While Black

White Cops Kill a Black Cop

Scene - East Harlem, off duty Black police officer chases down a criminal with gun drawn.

Police Report says - 3 officers arrived on the scene and saw a person with a gun drawn. The suspect was running with a gun drawn. The officers yelled "Police! Stop! Drop it!" The suspect turned to see who said it. One officer fired upon the suspect until dead, 6 shots, 2 hit perfectly.

Truth says - Omar Edwards was a 2 year rookie cop, who is obviously Black. The 3 officers who were shooting at him were all white, all plain clothes cops. Edwards was in plain clothes as well. The perpetrator officer that shot and killed Edwards was a 4 year veteran cop. They assessed the situation, crept up behind Edwards. The white cop shot twice and missed Edwards. Edwards turned to see who was shooting at him. The white cop continued shooting, hitting Edwards in the chest.

Whether they knew he was a cop or not is unclear, but they did know he was Black with a gun. It was like taking candy from a baby. Black man, gun with his finger prints on it, pure white justice in the bag.

The problem is there are 2 eye witnesses to the crime. The real perpetrator and another innocent bystander. The innocent bystander was interviewed and said he only heard and saw the gunshots. However, the New York media completely missed the story. This eyewitness was in plain view of the scene. He did not give account to hearing "Police! Stop! Drop it!" It is my assumption that the media is complicit in the cover up.

The cover up is this. The 2nd witness is the real perpetrator that Edwards was chasing. He assumed Edwards was shooting at him and kept running. The cops then hatched a plan to jail a patsy to take the fall for the crime scene. We are supposed to believe that 3 cops shoot and kill a Black man. Call the ambulance when they know he is good and dead. Wait for the ambulance to discover that it is a NYPD officer, THEN go, find and arrest the guy that Edwards was chasing? So the suspect waited around for all this to happen to be arrested?

It can't be such a dark night that you can't tell you're shooting at a police officer from 50 yards away, but can miraculously see the suspect he's chasing, with his back to you, clearly enough to then find and arrest him and he miraculously takes the blame for it.

Conclusion How to Kill a Cop and Get Away With It

This is how you kill a cop and get away with it. When you're a white, bastard, piece of trash cop that shoots a rookie Black cop that just has a newborn by his wife. The stupid mayor was called out to pretend to feel sorry for the dead Black cop.

People reading the story will dismiss OUT OF HAND that this was racially motivated. But, let me point you to some horrible statistics. Harlem is 60% nonwhite. That means 6 out of 10 people do not have any white blood in them. The police department is 90% white. They literally have to ship the white cops into the neighborhood to get them to work there.

What does that have to do with anything? Everything. First of all, there is a history of whit cops shooting Black cops. I have yet to read a report about Black cops shooting a white cop. Could it be that these 90% white cops have a mandate to shoot and kill Black people in the area? If this were a one time thing you could of course say it is not racially motivated, but when it happens within a few years of each other, time and time again, it is time to pull your head out of your hind side and wake up. Your police department is racist and needs to be cleaned out. From the chief on down fire everyone and start over.

This is the 3rd story I've covered in New York alone dealing with scumbag cops. You all need to clean house badly. From my research the Irish cops are worse than the KKK over there. How are you paying taxes to keep them on the payroll? I wouldn't stand for it.

Sunday: Why is Premarital Gender a Sin?

Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery

It is my opinion that if ministers and priests were to teach this lesson "as intended", they would lose members due to general discontent. Or, it would be followed by "nobody's perfect." That is just, of course, an excuse to excuse yourself from adhering to the word. It is my opinion that a lot of churches are just a song and dance show. That, at the end of the day, church is just a business like any other. People used to go to church out of a genuine fear of God. But, now they go out of habit; to put on airs; to seem as if they have morals. The truth of the matter is that, were this lesson taught properly and enforced on risk of being ousted to the community, people would stop going to church altogether.

I am not in your community. You do not have to put on airs in front of me. And, tomorrow I will probably post something about someone being a Gender and attach a picture of her breasts. So, I have absolutely no reason to hold back the lesson for fear of any reprisal from my readership. And, if I read my readership correctly, you appreciate my honesty anyway.

Tell the truth and shame the devil. If thou have power to raise him, bring him hither, and I'll be sworn I have power to shame him hence.

The First Commandment

Before the ten commandments there was one commandment that God issued to man. In Genesis 1:27-28 we read:

God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

So right after he created us we were to right away start producing more offspring. And, he set it in motion that we humans no longer needed God to create the next human, because he put in us the seeds of humanity so that we could produce more humans on our own. My Jewish friend says the Jews take this to be sacrosanct and obeyed before all else, the first Miztvah of the Torah. A good Jew then, would be married and have children, ad infinitum. This is a blessing, which later becomes a commandment after the great flood. [as a side note, you cannot be a practicing Jew nor Christian and follow this commandment, and be gay. also mentioned by my Jewish friend. seems logical to me. if this is the first commandment, you cannot be both Gender and not multiply and yet call yourself a Jew or Christian.]

So we've established that God wanted man to have children, and thereby have Gender , procreate. But, let's keep reading to the very next chapter where he describes man and woman getting together.

18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was n ot found an help meet for him. 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

A couple of key points I want to mention. Notice I didn't just include only the 24th verse. The preceding verses lead us into why Eve was created. Plain and simple, she was created for Adam. Woman was created for man. All the feminists are probably hissing at that, but then, they probably aren't good Christians anyway so... anyway. But, see also that the story isn't just one sided. Normally the ones that hiss the loudest have a problem reading. Not only was Eve created for Adam, God establishes that Adam will cleave to her, as all men should to their wives, and visa versa.

But wait there's more! Notice also that man is to leave his father and mother. Is God singling out mom and dad? Yes and no. He's singling them out because they are, or should be, the most important relationship you should have with another human. Once a man, therefore, finds a woman he is supposed to cease being a child, a servant etc, whatever the relationship is with a child and parent, and become the husband and head of his own house. This is also a double meaning that he should leave off all other relationships and be changed by marriage.

But wait, there's more. Not only is there leaving and cleaving, but the two are to be one flesh. This is both real and metaphorical. Adam immediately recognizes that Eve came from him directly, flesh of his flesh. Therefore they were one flesh. But, also when the two, man and woman, find each other they are also supposed to become one flesh. No other relationship on the face of the earth is to be equal to the one you have with your spouse - not child; not parents; not friends. You two are supposed to end and begin with each other. Whatever need you might want from another human, you are to find in your spouse. You can't cling to your daughter for companionship. You can't cling to your father for safety. You can't cling to your brother for financial security. These are all recipes for disaster in a marriage. This is something you should ask yourself before you get married to someone, "does she complete me?"

What is Adultery?

Quite simply, adultery is fornicating with someone that is: not married to you; married to someone else; not your spouse. In the old Hebrew context, adultery was a very small definition: Gender between a married woman and someone not her husband. But, that cannot possibly be the extent of the definition. The difference is between the Hebrew average person's understanding versus the biblical prohibition.

I'm sure some of you are shocked that I included "someone that is not married to you" as being adultery. Do I mean two single people having Gender are committing adultery? BINGO! And, this is the entire point of the article. Everyone talks about premarital Gender , but no one understands it to my satisfaction. Why is premarital Gender wrong? It is the same reason the old Hebrews understood why "thou shalt not commit adultery" meant not having Gender with a married woman, because the possible children would not have a lineage. Oh yeah, today we feel that everyone has a lineage, but that is as ignorant as saying everyone has good manners. Having illegitimate children, born out of wedlock, to people that never get married, is not only shameful and hurtful to the child, but a sin.

Let's see why single people having Gender could be committing adultery.

What if Time Were not Linear?

Understand something, God talks in a spiritual sense always. He never was physical and he never intended his teachings to only apply to the physical world. We were always to be redeemed spiritually.

Having Gender is a spiritual experience. The best Gender is between a loving husband and wife. God always intended Gender to be pleasurable, so that his first commandment could be fulfilled, be fruitful and multiply.

However, God doesn't exist in the limitation of time. Today, yesterday and tomorrow have virtually no meaning in the spiritual realms. Just because you are not married today does not mean you will never be married. Just because you are married today, does not mean you will always be married. If time is pointless then, having Gender with someone who will never be your husband / wife, but who will marry someone else means you are committing adultery.

If you notice, a lot of the prohibitions in the bible just make excellent sense. If you followed the bible, and not weird people telling you extra stuff, not found anywhere in the bible, your life would be very simple and virtually stress free.

What do I mean? Imagine you did have Gender with someone, and they had a child, or you had a child. You two do not get married. You now have this estranged relationship that lasts nearly all of your life. And, for what? Chasing after something that did not mean anything to begin with.

Had you followed my definition of adultery, you'd save yourself, the other person and the poor kid a lot of headache and misery. In fact, the bible seems nearly completely silent on Gender between husband and wife. In fact, from the beginning you get the thumbs up from God, himself.

What About Divorce?

Ah, here's another sticky subject. If two single people cannot have Gender , what is a divorce supposed to do? If you've been following thus far, you know I am going to say, they would be committing sin. Yes, divorced people are committing sin if they have Gender with someone else. Oh don't give me that long face, divorce was always frowned on in the bible. It was virtually unheard of, but when spoken of, it was always prohibited.

Let's apply my test to divorce. A couple of points to make about divorce and fornication:

- you might argue that a divorced person maybe should not have been married to the first person and that the second person is their true intended spouse. While I applaud your zeal in defending the sinful person, let me point out at the beginning, my speech on asking yourself "does she complete me."

- a divorced person having Gender with someone they are not currently married to is causing someone else to sin. God forbid they should have a child by that person. Again with the stressed out life. Oy Vey! Oy Gvald!

Notice I never mention diseases? Frankly, that is a minor worry. Yes you could die from a disease, but then the story is over. But to live with your sin for the rest of, not only your life, but the child's life and any offspring that child might have is devastating.

That's all Well and Good, but No-one Marries for Life Any More

Keep telling yourself that lie. There are people all day, every day and will always be getting married for life. There are millions of Americans who have been married longer than 60% of the entire population's lifespan. Let me repeat that. There are people in America who have been married longer than some people have been alive.

But, let me clue you into something. Business hates these people. The media bombards you with false claims that divorce outweighs marriage. The media bombards you with Gender all the time. The media would have you believe that being gay is ok, having premarital Gender is the norm and that being a church going Christian is so in the past. They are all lies. The majority of marriages last. Being gay is not conducive to being a practicing Jew nor Christian. The majority of the country is still Christian. And, God blessem, all the illegal immigrants are all practicing Catholics, so Christianity is not going to disappear any time soon.

Conclusion

I'm sure you're wondering how could I possibly conclude this lesson. I actually think it is simple. We are led to believe these days that in order to get married:

1. you have to be in love with the person
2. you have to live with the person and see if you get along
3. you have get to know the person
4. you have to be a traditionalist, because no modern man/woman needs to get married any more
5. marriage is just a formality that is made by the government with a document

It amazes me how Christian beliefs are insulted by the media constantly. They would try and make it look like either marriage is stupid to begin with or that people that want to get married are dumb and therefore irrelevant.

How many movies have you seen in the past 3 years that has had the theme be "there is no such thing as love anymore so why get married." You ever question where these themes come from?

Imagine for a second that you're an actuary and a company asks you to come to their offices. They ask you to show them the difference between married people and single people. You go over all of your data and show that married people are:

• more stable
• more trustworthy
• less accident prone
• more thoughtful about everything they do
• more thoughtful about everything they buy
• have a higher tendency to keep records of themselves or transactions

and the list goes on.

Now imagine what that company would think. Wouldn't they want to get around those people? Wouldn't they want to lessen those people? Wouldn't they want to try and downplay those people? But, they couldn't avoid those people because they are the largest segment of the population. Every news report of divorce going up would be applauded. Every movie that downplayed marriage would be cheered on. Every dumb wannabe intellectual college kid preaching the end of marriage would be secretly worshiped.

The truth of the matter is, because the way God made us, put us together for some time and anyone can get along, anyone can fall in love with each other, anyone can form a loving relationship, anyone can, with slight instruction, raise children.

Marriage was not made by governments. It was never even considered a legal thing until very modern times. Even then, it was a simple recognition of a religious ceremony that nearly everyone in the population did. It was literally a right of passage: get pubic hair; get a deeper voice; get married.

Marriage does not have all these hang-ups that people put on them. There have been "simple" people marrying each other for thousands of years. They never had to "work on their marriage". They never needed marriage counseling. They never needed a talk show host guiding them to blissful marriage. Even the fairytales end at the beginning of marriage: and they lived happily ever after. Why? Because once you got married it would abnormal for you to get a divorce. Unthinkable!

People today get married with one foot out the door. Why are you getting married? What is the complication? Literally, your mom or dad could see a nice girl for you, who comes from good parents and you could marry her. It is just that simple. You don't need a psychology degree to be married. And, if you think you do, you're paying attention to the media. Stop it.

So stop the sinning. Get married as soon as you find a suitable match from the same background. Make sure the two of you are headed in the same direction. Make sure she does not have one foot out the door. Have all the kids you want with her. And, when you find a nice girl your son could and should marry, tell him to marry her. And so on. And so on.
